Primary Responsibilities:
- Examines or tests operation of parts or systems to ensure completeness of repairs
- Inspects recreational vehicles to diagnose problems and performs necessary adjustment, repair, or overhaul
- Communicates with customers, reads work orders, and/or examines vehicles needing repair to determine the nature and extent of damage
- Lists parts needed, estimates costs, and plans work procedures
- Connects electrical systems to outside power sources and activates switches to test the operation of appliances and light fixtures
- Connects water hoses to inlet pipes of plumbing systems and tests operation
- Repairs leaks, wiring, plumbing or propane gas lines, refinishes wood surfaces, and resets hardware
- Seals open sides of modular units to prepare them for shipment
- Performs other repairs as needed

- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Required: Prior mechanical experience
